Uncle Eric, Madge and the gang are back with their latest musical escapade - an upstairs-downstairs adventure filled with comedy, nostalgia and the greatest hits of the 60s. JAZZ: A night of jazz music takes place on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 9pm at Longton Rugby Club on Trentham Lakes. Entry is Pounds 3.
ROCK: Family band Beardsmith perform on Thursday night from 8.pm at The Green Star in Smallthorne. Entry is free.
KARAOKE: An evening of sing-a-long entertainment on Thursday, with karaoke at The Hollybush in Northwood. Starts from 8pm and entry is free.
MUSIC: The Trentham Estate hosts another of their Hot Summer Saturday Dates this Saturday. Disco Chic will include all of the classic sounds from the disco era. For tickets, call 01782 646646.
THEATRE: Local youth theatre group TDA Productions start their run of Les Miserables at Stoke Rep next week. The show starts on Tuesday, August 27 and runs until Saturday, August 31. The profits will be donated to the Joe Gilligan Trust, a local charity which supports young musicians and young people suffering from cancer.
