(Submitted by Telemundo) -- Telemundo presented the premiere of its new original production "Santa Diabla" on Tuesday, August 6 at 9 p.m. Starring Gaby Espino, Aaron Diaz and Carlos Ponce, along with Ximena Duque and a great all-star cast, this telenovela tells the story of Santa Martinez (Espino), a woman who designs a plan for justice and revenge without knowing that she might fail with the arrival of love to her life and she will have to choose between this beautiful feeling or the revenge she fought for.
This original production is written by Jose Ignacio Valenzuela (La Casa de al Lado, Dama y Obrero) "El Chascas" recorded at Telemundo Studios Miami under the executive production of Carmen Cecilia Urbanski.

Character: Gaby Espino plays the character of Santa Martinez, a beautiful and very attractive woman who married her lifelong sweetheart, Willy Delgado, whom she loves with all her heart. They had a son, who was named Willy Jr. Their lives began to change when Willy was hired as a private music teacher. After a tragic experience in Santa's life, she decides to embody a role to achieve a plan of justice and revenge to make sure her enemies pay for what they did.
Actress: Gaby Espino is undoubtedly one of the most internationally recognized stars of telenovelas. After her outstanding performance as host of Telemundo's reality show "Yo Me Llamo," the actress returns to the TV screen in the original production "Santa Diabla."
Born in Venezuela, the actress has starred in outstanding original productions, including "Mas Sabe el Diablo," "Sin Verguenza," "Ojo por Ojo," and many more. In addition, she served as host of the first edition of "Premios Tu Mundo" by Telemundo held in 2012 and again in 2013.
Character: Aaron Diaz plays Santiago Cano, an attractive and charismatic man with a huge heart who's life is music. He's an adventurer who comes from a prominent family that never accepted his true passion for music and have seen him as the black sheep. When he returns to the parental home, he discovers that his brother is getting married. That's when he meets the love of his life and decides to take a risk and win over the woman he loves. Within his honesty and transparency, Santiago hides a big secret that doesn't allow him to be completely happy.
Actor: The renowned Mexican actor Aaron Diaz joined Telemundo this year as an exclusive talent after starring in numerous internationally successful telenovelas and participating in the TV series "Pan Am" on ABC. Born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Aaron got his first opportunity in a telenovela as a student at the Centro de Educacion Artistica (CEA). He was introduced in 2002 in the popular series "Clase 406" which broke records by lasting one year and seven months of uninterrupted transmission. Since then he has participated in a large number of internationally successful productions such as "Teresa, "Barrera de Amor," and "Lola Erase una Vez."
Character: Carlos Ponce plays Humberto Cano, a handsome man of intense personality, cold and calculating who knows how to captivate and entrap with his charms anyone he wants.
A successful litigator, he is an exclusive part of the Cano Robledo firm, run by his father. He's a very serious man of few words, who inspires fear with his mere presence. He's enigmatic and distant, he doesn't easily talk about his feelings, his dreams and his hopes. Humberto has a terrible secret. As a good businessman, he's looking for the perfect woman to be a good wife and to give his life status.
Actor: Carlos Ponce is one of the Hispanic celebrities with great success in many entertainment sectors, including music, television and film in both English and Spanish.
For this Puerto Rican actor, "Dame Chocolate" by Telemundo marked his return to the world of telenovelas in 2007, where he also wrote and performed the theme song. In 2009, he reappeared on the screen with a cameo in "Mas Sabe el Diablo" and then starred in "Perro Amor" (2010), in which he also wrote and performed the theme song.
In the musical field, Ponce was introduced as a singer in 1998 and his first song "Rezo" became one of the most heard throughout Latin America and Spain. Since then he has performed theme songs for movies in English and Spanish, as well as participated in films like "Chasing Papi," "Complete Guide to Guys," "Couples Retreat," three Lifetime Television films made ??in his native Puerto Rico and the shows "7th Heaven" and "Lipstick Jungle."
Character: Ximena Duque plays Ines Robledo, a somewhat emotionally unstable woman, selfish, willful, manipulative, deceitful and very, very childish. We could say the she is an immature teenager trapped in the body of an adult woman, so she is not even very aware of the consequences of her actions. Ines was raised obsessively and almost feebly by Vincent, her father, after the death of his wife Felicia during childbirth.
Fearful of losing his daughter, Vicente did his best to keep Ines protected from any outside environment. He left her virtually
confined to her home with tutors who went to teach her about the world, instead of allowing her to know it on her own. She's a great reader, knows a lot about classical music, painting, sculpture, etc..
Actress:Ximena Duque is one of the young actresses that emerged from Telemundo after participating in the popular reality show "Protagonistas de Novela II" and has become one of the favorites of Hispanic television.
After her successful participation in the telenovelas "Corazon Valiente" and "La Casa de al Lado." Ximena, who was one of the "50 Most Beautiful" of People en Espanol this year, has participated in several Telemundo productions, including "Alguien te Mira," "Pecados Ajenos," and ten episodes of the series "Decisiones."
