Aug. 14--Ben Affleck in December walked away from a chance to run for John F. Kerry's seat in the U.S. Senate. That doesn't mean he's done with politics, says his wife of eight years, Alias' Jennifer Garner -- he's just not ready to make his move yet. "Right now, [Ben] feels like he can do more good for people politically from outside the system," Garner, 41, tells the September issue of Allure, referring to his work with do-gooder dot.orgs.
Is that enough? Doesn't Ben want access to The Button? "Would I be surprised if one day he did go into politics? No," says Garner, and she'd support him if he did ("I'm along for the ride"), but she'd never costar with him in a film. "People see paparazzi shots of us together all the time," she says. "There's no mystery. . . . People are sick of us."

It's like the real moment, you're catching the real moment there."
A moment in love's timeless flow. . . .
