TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/09/13 -- Besra (TSX: BEZ)(ASX: BEZ)(OTCQX: BSRAF)(FRANKFURT: OP6) CEO John Seton is very pleased to be able to announce that the company has achieved its 2013 production guidance.
Seton said, "Following a record-breaking quarter, we are very pleased to be in a position to announce that for the year ended 30 June 2013, gold production totalled 60,187 ounces which marks the highest ever annual production for Besra and meets our market guidance of 60,000 oz."
Several daily records were set during Q4 at the company's Bong Mieu and Phuoc Son gold mines in Vietnam including daily mill throughput and ore mined at both sites. Total production for Q4 was 18,481 ounces.

Besra will be releasing more detailed information once year-end figures have been confirmed later in July.
Besra is a diversified gold company focused on four advanced properties; the Bau Goldfield in East Malaysia, Bong Mieu and Phuoc Son in Central Vietnam, and Capcapo in the Philippines. Besra expects to expand existing gold production capacity in Vietnam over the next two years and is projecting new production capacity from Bau Central during late 2015 (start up and production forecasts will depend on the result of the current Jugan feasibility, which is scheduled for completion in 2013).
