NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 07/09/13 -- eXelate, the leading smart data and analytics engine powering smarter digital marketing decisions, is accepting nominations for the inaugural edition of its Data eXcellence Awards, the industry's first and only event celebrating the innovative use of data for smarter marketing decisions. Any party using eXelate data, either directly or through a partner, is invited to submit a nomination. During an awards ceremony on August 1 in New York, eXelate will honor five organizations that have implemented smart data to achieve smarter results in five categories: agency, publisher, platform, partner and non-adtech.
The nomination form for the Data eXcellence Award may be accessed online at http://2013awards.exelate.com/nomination-form, and submissions will be accepted through Friday, July 19. Each nomination will be evaluated based on the company's innovative use of data and the results achieved. An esteemed panel of judges includes: Linda Abraham, Co-Founder, comScore; Andy Herz, Director, Customer Relationship Management, Verizon Wireless; Kate Kaye, Journalist, Ad Age; Evangelos Simoudis, Sr. Managing Director, Trident; and Mark Zagorski, CEO, eXelate. Those who submit the winning nomination in each category will win an iPad Mini.
The Data Excellence Awards will be hosted by Lauren Adams and Dru Johnston, performers and improvisers from New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Adams and Johnston both starred in eXelate's "Sh*t Digital Media Folks Say" viral YouTube video. Brendan Fitzgibbons, NY-based comedian, writer and actor, will also perform during the event.
