#OuiStampede Serves Up Pancakes and Calgary Spirit

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 07/05/13 -- Tomorrow, the 4th annual #OuiStampede Pancake Breakfast & Fundraiser will bring Calgary spirit to Montreal in conjunction with the 101st annual Calgary Stampede.

Hosted by Calgary native, Clare McWilliams, she and her husband host a private 'barn party' at their home that brings a slice of Western tradition to the West side of Montreal in the borough of Notre Dame de Grace.

"In a city as culturally rich as Montreal, it's only natural to share a part of Calgary's history," says McWilliams, who moved to La Belle Province in early 2010. "Be it western hospitality or shameless civic pride, we happily embrace language, line dancing and giving back - especially now as Calgary bravely faces the aftermath of June's heartbreaking flood."

To support those affected by the floods in Southern Alberta, McWilliams is auctioning a Stampede prize package to raise funds for the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund.

Fused by Stampede spirit and joie de vivre, guests will experience cowgirl-meets-gourmet grub, hay bales, country tunes, line dancing - the real deal with a French twist.

This year, 75 guests from across Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Lloydminster, Calgary and Vancouver will support the men in their lives with a donation to the only Quebec charity solely dedicated to prostate cancer research and education: PROCURE, The Force Against Prostate Cancer.

"We are touched that PROCURE has selected as this year's #OuiStampede charity of choice," explains Laurent Proulx, General Manager, PROCURE. "A unique opportunity like this to promote prostate cancer awareness and diminish related stigmas, especially amongst 'cowboys,' is necessary and perfectly fitting."
