LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The American Film Market (AFM), November 6 - 13, 2013 in Santa Monica, announces its launch of the AFM Producers Forum and this year's topics and schedule for the AFM Conference Series.
The AFM Producers Forum is a new program for experienced producers from around the world to learn and network at the AFM. The Forum will include 16 educational sessions with experts and global thought leaders discussing a wide range of topics that may include co-productions in China and India, working with sales agents, production incentives, and working with U.S. guilds. Each day's sessions will be followed by a private, hosted networking reception.
"The new AFM Producers Forum will provide experienced producers with knowledge on a wide range of topics that are most important to working professionals along with exclusive social activities." said Jonathan Wolf, AFM Managing Director. Also confirmed is this year's AFM Conference Series, which will run from Friday, November 8 through Tuesday, November 12. Topics include: Finance, Pitch, Production, Marketing and Distribution. Sessions will focus on crowd-funding, crowd-sourcing audiences, film festivals, video on demand and more.
AFM also announces that JETRO and UniJapan are creating a 2,000 square foot Japan Pavilion. Among new exhibitors, Panorama Media and Relativity Media will participate in the American Film Market for the first time.
