COSTA MESA, CA and PIGEON FORGE, TN -- (Marketwired) -- 07/03/13 -- Tickets.com, provider of state-of-the-art technology solutions to over 1000 sports and entertainment clients around the world, and Fee Hedrick Family Entertainment Group have announced a partnership to implement ProVenue for their productions in the growing entertainment region of Pigeon Forge, TN.
Producers and operators of the Comedy Barn, The Hatfield & McCoy's Dinner Show and The Smokey Mountain Opry, Fee Hedrick Family Entertainment Group is making notable investments to improve their marketing reach and online presence. Currently overhauling their entire customer-facing web experience, the company was seeking a ticketing solution that was easy to maintain and fully hosted to reduce operational overhead and address specific business needs.
A key component for choosing ProVenue is the system's structure for handling inventory for their multiple theatres, and bundling complex inventory packages for online sales. ProVenue will allow Fee Hedrick to more creatively and flexibly build packages and offer add-on opportunities that will increase revenue, but more importantly create an elevated customer experience.
"We were impressed with the vision and experience Tickets.com exhibits and were excited to partner with them for an improved ticketing experience," said Leslie Thomas, Senior Vice President for Fee Hedrick Entertainment. "Tickets.com is a powerful brand and holds a strong presence in ticketing and we plan to leverage all aspects of our relationship going forward."
The theatres will also gain a leading Access Control scanning solution, allowing for more flexible ticket delivery options, such as print-at-home (Tickets@Home®) and mobile tickets (Tickets@Phone®). Tickets.com's Campaign Creator® email marketing platform is also included in the deal giving Fee Hedrick a better way to track marketing communication efforts.
"We're excited to partner with Fee Hedrick. They are true entertainment entrepreneurs that value their customers and are poised to grow in the Smokey Mountain region and beyond," commented Dan Archabal, Vice President of Business Development for Tickets.com. "Their ticket sales and operational complexity are the exact type of challenge our team wants to take on to demonstrate the power and flexibility of our technology and the value of our brand."
