Meet some of the acts

The Correspondents are Mr. Bruce and Chucks.

They take the multi-genre approach, with producer Chucks throwing a history of dance music into the pot from jazz to electro, 60s beat to hip hop to blues to drum n bass. Seasoned with Mr. Bruce's vocals depicting the trials and tribulations of love, lust and loss, they create a unique sound that avoids easy categorization.

On stage they take form as a DJ/MC duo with Chucks hurling tracks at the audience and flamboyantly costumed Mr. Bruce whipping them into a frenzy with high speed scatting and incredulous dance moves.

Their performances have taken them from mud pit to main stage, armed with anything from a brass sections to an infrared sensored light box and their trusty conveyor belt dance platform. They have a reputation as one of the UK's best live acts Public Service Broadcasting is the corduroy-clad brainchild of London-based J. Willgoose, Esq. who, along with his drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, is on a quest to inform, educate and entertain audiences around the globe.

PSB''s uniquely spell-binding live AV Transmissions see them weave samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material around live drums, guitar, banjo and electronics as they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future - beaming our past back at us through vintage TV sets and state of the art modern video projection devices.

Public Service Broadcasting have toured the UK and Europe this year and and with festival slots at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Wickerman, Kendal Calling and many more, plus a high profile support slot with the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park will ensure the band''s quest to inform, educate and entertain the masses is within reach... Extracurricular Extra Curricular combine soul with elements of rock, hip-hop and modern bass culture.

Fronted by Thabo and backed by a live horns section, electric guitar, bass and drums, the live show has to be witnessed to see why everyone is going crazy for this new band.

They have been harnessing their live shows on the festival and club circuit having graced such stages as Manchester Academy, Brixton Mass, Secret Garden Party, Limetree Festival, Greenman Festival and the Greenbelt Festival and shared these stages with the likes of Example, Zane Lowe, Artwork, Youngblood Brass Band and Craig Charles.
