SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/02/13 -- San Francisco-based ad agency ARGONAUT announced today the appointments of new account director Maura Menapace, strategist Marika Wiggan, art director Roseanne Overton, writer Bri Hand and agency coordinator Sam Holler.

Maura Menapace joins ARGONAUT as the first account director, bringing ten years of experience leading accounts including, Frito-Lay and PepsiCo and her most recent role as global account director across Doritos, Cheetos and Ruffles brands. Menapace led the creation of the first-ever six-story Doritos vending machine that launched Doritos Jacked at SXSW in 2012, which hosted performances by Snoop Dogg and over 20 other musical acts. She also worked on Doritos' famed Crash the Super Bowl campaign for the past two years. Prior to Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Menapace spent time at TBWA/Chiat/Day and Crispin Porter + Bogusky working on brands that include Pepsi, The GRAMMYs, WaMu and Volkswagen.
Menapace is joined by Marika Wiggan, who spent the last three years working on Chevrolet with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and later Commonwealth located in Detroit. The jack-of-all-trades planner started out in a hybrid role, tackling both brand strategy and communications planning. She is now settling in on the strategy team at ARGONAUT.
Bri Hand comes fresh from Google Creative Lab where she worked on the renown Google Glass project as well as Search Stories, in which she wrote, shot and edited the mini-documentary, "Brian Kingrey: The Perfect Game." While it was nationally televised during the World Series, it was also featured on the Google homepage -- an honor reserved only for the best Google creative. Hand joins ARGONAUT as writer.
Prior to joining ARGONAUT, Roseanne Overton worked on the Budweiser and Diageo accounts with the New York branch of advertising agency Anomaly. Her work included the Budweiser Black Crown launch campaign and digital activations surrounding Budweiser's "Brotherhood" Super Bowl campaign. Overton joins ARGONAUT as art director. Hand and Overton met and became a team while studying at VCU Brandcenter.
Sam Holler joins ARGONAUT as the first agency coordinator. For the past few years, Holler has helped transform the products and services of some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry, including W Hotels, St. Regis, Fairmont Hotels and Marriott International.
ARGONAUT is an advertising agency based in San Francisco, California, founded in March 2013 by industry veteran Jordan Warren and creative team Hunter Hindman and Rick Condos, along with Max Heilbron as head of strategy, Robbie Whiting as head of creative technology and production, and Conal O' Doherty as head of growth.
