REVIEW Alice - An Extraordinary Adventure HEARTBREAK PRODUCTIONS, SUDBURY HALL, NR YOXALL HEARTBREAK Productions' amalgamation of two classic Lewis Carroll tales was an entertaining hit for the whole family.

Alice - An Extraordinary Adventure began with an invitation to us all to attend Alice's 11th birthday.

This brand new production kept my two children, aged five and eight, captivated for two hours.

A talented four-strong cast - Lily Carrie, Rhian McLean, Alex Moore and Nathan Smith - performed the roles in this mix of Carroll's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

And there were chances for younger audience members to become a part of the cast, including being in the Red Queen's jury during Alice's trial.

Add to that a picnicnicking knave and a white rabbit routing in the mums' handbags, this open air performance ticked all the boxes for a great, fun, family evening.

Alice will also be performed at Moor Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, July 24, 6.30pm, and Brueton Park, Solihull, July 25, 7pm.
