CINCINNATI, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 07/11/13 -- Datalliance today announced key growth metrics for the first half of 2013. The company realized a 25+% increase in revenue over the first half of 2013, positioning the company for its ninth consecutive year of 20% annual growth. Increased revenue came from expanded and new customer subscriptions for the Datalliance Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) platform and associated services. New customers were added and existing customer programs were substantially expanded in consumer goods, electrical, telecommunications, power transmission, and medical device markets.
As the world's largest independent Vendor Managed Inventory platform and service provider, Datalliance VMI saw increases in all key volume statistics and now manages over 15,000 locations, 19M+ SKU's, and $18B+ in customer annualized sales. The annualized sales volume represents a 22% increase just since the end of 2012.
Datalliance also continued to develop new VMI innovations through delivery of two new releases of its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) VMI platform in the January - June time frame.
In addition, Datalliance continued to build the foundation for expansion into Europe with the addition of a senior-level key account manager in the company's European Headquarters located in Brussels, Belgium. Datalliance is already being used by manufacturers to provide VMI services for both industrial and consumer products in 49 locations and 15 countries within Europe. Overall, Datalliance is being used by manufacturers to manage thousands of inventory locations in 41 countries world-wide, including hundreds of locations in South America, Asia, and Australia in addition to North America and Europe.
