I sometimes have a hard time keeping track of the multitude of country music awards shows. This one, for those keeping track at home, is the "only fan-voted award show that recognizes country's best video and musical achievements." In other words, those fancy music videos that get lots of looks will be honored. Kristin Bell is back as the host. She shares hosting duties with another country superstar, Jason Aldean. Last year, she and Toby Keith were co-hosts. Bell and Aldean have a surprising amount of chemistry, at least in videos promoting the awards ceremony. We'll see if that translates onto live television. So, yes, the awards. Your usual country superstar suspects are up for a slew of honors: Aldean, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. You can find the nominees at Scheduled performers include Nelly and Florida Georgia Line, Lenny Kravitz and Aldean, Underwood, George Strait, Darius Rucker and Taylor Swift. I don't pay as much attention to the presenters, but intriguing ones include Charles Esten (Deacon on ABC's "Nashville") and Lisa Marie Presley. Red carpet arrivals start at 7 p.m. The show is at 8 p.m. CMT

It's been said that Morgan Freeman is one of those actors who could read the phone book and we'd be pretty pleased to hear it. Those narrative skills are on full display here when he hosts this show about "thought-provoking and awe-inspiring questions spanning science, space and humankind." How thought-provoking are we talking? This fourth-season premiere deals with a topic that's been discussed forever: "When does life begin?" Future episodes will tackle less polarizing questions, such as "How do aliens think?" and "Can our minds be hacked?" For behind-the-scenes bonus footage, go to 10 p.m. Science Channel

"Paranormal Witness," 10 p.m. Syfy; "Chef Roble & Co.," 10 p.m. Bravo; "Beverly Hills Pawn," 9 p.m. Reelz; "The Good-Buy Girls," 10 p.m. TLC; and, you asked for it: a sixth season of "Toddlers & Tiaras," 9 p.m. TLC.
