CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/13 -- Sustainable Energy Technologies (TSX VENTURE: STG), ("Sustainable Energy" or the "Company") is pleased to report that interest in the BiDirex enabled Sonnenbatterie "Comfort" line of grid parallel solar storage systems was far greater than the Company expected at last week's Inter-solar show in Munich Germany.
"Based on new customer feedback, we now believe that the product mix will be biased heavily towards three phase systems with mid range power ratings," said Brent Harris, CTO of the Company, who provided technical support to Prosol Invest's marketing team in Munich. "Since each three phase Sonnebatterie system requires three BiDirex units, this change in demand mix would increase our unit sales count beyond earlier expectations," Harris added.
Prosol Invest also announced a cooperation agreement with Solarwatt GmbH that will see the BiDirex enabled Sonnenbatterie system integrated into the Solarwatt Solar Power Storage system. Readers are referred to news releases issued by Solarwatt and Prosol Invest concerning the cooperation agreement:
-- See Solarwatt GmbH news release dated June 17, 2013 and entitled "SOLARWATT WITH NEW SOLAR POWER STORAGE SYSTEM" at the Solarwatt website
-- See Prosol Invest news release dated June and entitled "PROSOL Invest liefert intelligentes Lithium-Speichersystem an SOLARWATT" at the Sonnenbatterie website

About Sustainable Energy
Sustainable Energy (www.SustainableEnergy.com) designs and manufactures advanced power electronics for distributed smart grid and micro-grid applications. Advanced power electronics are a critical interface between all distributed generation and storage systems devices, ensuring the delivery of high quality alternating current (AC) to the power grid as well as providing utility control over the interconnection and power quality.
Sustainable Energy's bi-directional low voltage energy storage inverter branded BiDirex directly connects low voltage batteries to the grid with the power industry's highest round trip (battery charging and discharging) efficiencies. The inverter meets tough utility smart grid standards such as Germany's VDE 4105 which is becoming a global standard and enables full utility control over the battery dispatch and power quality functions.
Sustainable Energy's platform is based on patented breakthroughs in power inverter design that enable its platform to convert high current/low voltage DC into high quality AC with conversion efficiencies that are higher than anything in the market with an inherently lower cost structure.
