MRY Brings on Industry Vet David Berkowitz as First Chief Marketing Officer

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/13 -- MRY (www.mry.com), a creative and technology agency with social at its core, today announced the appointment of David Berkowitz to the position of Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. This hiring further strengthens MRY's industry leading creative capabilities and thought leadership and bolsters the senior leadership team. In the new position, Berkowitz will oversee marketing operations and strategy across the agency. He will report to CEO Matt Britton.

Berkowitz's new position ends his seven year tenure at digital marketing agency 360i, where he most recently held the position of Vice President of Emerging Media. During his time at 360i, he built the emerging media practice and worked with brands such as Kraft, H&R Block and Bravo. In addition, Berkowitz helped to launch Startup Outlook, a guide for marketers to evaluate startups and emerging technologies. Prior to 360i, Berkowitz served as Director of Marketing at Viewpoint Corporation. During his career, he has penned more than 500 columns and spoken at more than 200 events.
