SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 06/20/13 -- Infrastructure Developments Corp. (OTCQB: IDVC) (the "Company") announced today that it has initiated the roll out of a marketing and presentation program for the Wing House mobile shelters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
"The market for mobile shelters in Saudi Arabia is believed to be substantial, considering the size of the oil and gas, manufacturing and agricultural industries, and the large expanse of land area," said Eric Montandon, the Company's CEO. "The structures we sell offer quick delivery and setup, safety, and longevity in remote areas or at work sites. Our local partner has shown commitment to distribute units based on their local knowledge and expertise, and we are sure our product fits every large user and every small niche."
The Company, through its subsidiary Interspec International, Inc., in cooperation with local distribution partner Al Battal Trading, has imported a three bedroom, two bathroom Wing House unit which it is exhibiting at a yard outside of Dammam. Al Battal Trading has significant contacts in the country, and plans to present the unit to Saudi Aramco -- which is the Saudi national oil and gas company -- as well as other large potential users in coming weeks.
The standard Wing House units are mobile offices or living spaces that fold out from a standard-sized 40-foot shipping container to an 880 square foot ready to use house or public space, with all baths, water, AC, lighting, cable, network and electrical fittings in place. They are rated for extreme temperatures, safe in severe storms, meet the highest safety and building code standards, and are very economical. The range of products also includes the newly developed "pop out" 20 and 40 foot units that slide out in minutes and are also pre-fit with all baths and fixtures. Technical information and specifications for the Wing Houses are available at www.winghouses.com.
In past years, the Company's affiliates have placed Wing Houses in the United Arab Emirates and Thailand per distribution agreements with the patent holder/manufacturer. In March 2013, the Company announced plans to import and exhibit units at oil and gas trade shows in Canada and the U.S. This roll out program in North America has been postponed due to finance and importation scheduling problems, but is expected to be re-initiated before the end of 2013.
