The CMO Club to Launch Prestigious Awards Program to Recognize the World's Top Marketing Executives

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/19/13 -- The CMO Club (CMOclub.com) is proud to launch the premier annual awards event for Chief Marketing Officers, The CMO Club Awards, or CMOAs. The awards will be distributed at a celebration in the Meatpacking district of New York City on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 6:30pm.

"The CMOAs were created to take a few moments to stop and celebrate some of the marketing industry brightest leaders, stars and their amazing accomplishments plus equally as important, share their successes in a way other CMOs can benefit," says CMO Club Founder, Pete Krainik. "We will use this opportunity to award individuals with high impact success in the following seven categories: C- Leadership, M-Marketing, 0-Officer of a company, Rising Star, Programmatic Marketing, CMO Club DNA award, and the CMO of the Year."

The nomination process began in June for the industry to nominate marketing heads (CMOs or the most senior marketing executive from a company are eligible to be nominated), with the Club's chapter presidents selecting the top three finalists in each category from all those nominated, followed by voting from CMO Club members in August. The award winners will be announced shortly after. "This event will be the shining star in our ongoing efforts to support the world's best CMO Conversations and Successes," commented CMO Club Chapter Presidents Circle Chairman, Terri Graham. The CMO Club Annual CMO Awards Categories

The CMO Leadership Award - Three Finalists and One overall winner. This award is based on a marketing executive's demonstrated leadership in building, leading and motivating a high performing marketing organization.

Framework for consideration includes:
1. Building or transforming a new marketing organization to succeed in today's marketing environment.
2. Innovative techniques or approaches to motivating today's marketing organization for high performance.
3. New approaches for training and reinforcing techniques and expertise within his/her organization for high performance.

The CMO Marketing Innovation Award - Three Finalists and One overall winner. This award is based on a marketing executive's demonstrated leadership in creating a marketing innovation environment and delivering true marketing innovation that changes the game for ROI, customer engagement, and/or for the industry.

Framework for consideration includes:
1. Building or transforming a marketing organization's ability to deliver new innovation to his/her company or the industry.
2. Delivering "game changing" marketing innovation(s) for ROI, customer engagement or Brand differentiation.
3. Delivering "game changing" marketing innovation(s) leveraging new partnerships.

The CMO Officers Award - Three Finalists and One overall winner. This award is based on a marketing executive's demonstrated leadership in leading the brand beyond the marketing department and/or leading the growth agenda for the company.

Framework for consideration includes:
1. Building or transforming an entire organization's ability to understand, communicate and live the Brand beyond the marketing department.
2. Leading and delivering "game changing" growth as a Chief Marketing Officer of the company.

The CMO Rising Star Award - Three Finalists and One overall winner. This award is based on a marketing executive's demonstrated capabilities in leading an organization, marketing innovation and leading the growth agenda, with less than 10 years of marketing experience.

Framework for consideration includes:
1. Leading a high performing marketing organization.
2. Demonstrating innovation in marketing for increased ROI, customer engagement or brand differentiation.
3. Leading the growth agenda for the company.

The CMO Programmatic Marketing Award - Three Finalists and One overall winner. This award is based on a marketing executive's demonstrated capabilities in leading the development and implementation of programmatic marketing success within their organization.

Framework for consideration includes:
1. Leading highly successful programmatic marketing excellence within their organization.
2. Programmatic marketing success for increased ROI, customer engagement or brand differentiation.

The CMO Club President's Circle Award - Three Finalists and One overall winner. This award is based on a marketing executive's demonstrated delivery in support of the DNA of the Club for building relationships with peers in the Club, sharing and helping others, and referring other CMOs to join the world's best CMO conversations.

Framework for consideration includes:
