NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/13 -- iCrossing, a global digital marketing agency, today announced it has hired Christine Bensen and Sabine Cummins to join its rapidly growing media organization. Since 2012, iCrossing has nearly doubled its display media spend, and its overall media practice revenue is up more than 20 percent. This growth is due in large part to iCrossing being named digital agency of record for a growing number of clients, including DIRECTV, technology/icrossing-nabs-two-beam-brands-expands-role-liquor-giant-148064">Beam Inc. and technology/pep-boys-gives-icrossing-all-its-digital-work-148963">Pep Boys.
In the newly created roles, Bensen joins iCrossing as senior vice president of media strategy, and Cummins as vice president of media, central region. Both will report directly to Jonathan Adams, Senior Vice President of Media, North America.

Bensen, an 18-year veteran of the media industry, will lead two national teams within iCrossing's media organization: the newly created Digital Media Strategy (DMS) and Digital Media Insights (DMI) groups. DMS is a first of its kind cross-functional connections planning team designed especially to drive client success with data and insights. DMI encompasses iCrossing's best-in-class analytics and reporting teams, which support all forms of digital media.

Prior to iCrossing, Bensen was EVP, Media Director at Moxie based in Atlanta where she worked with brands such as Verizon Wireless, L'Oreal USA and Fox Theatrical and Home Entertainment.
Cummins, who most recently worked as Media Director of the Central Region at Razorfish, joined iCrossing to lead the agency's central region (Chicago and Dallas) media teams. She will manage the digital media work for clients such as Coca-Cola, Beam Inc. and Hilton Hotels.
In addition, Doug Platts, a six-year veteran of iCrossing, was promoted to Vice President, Search Strategy and head of SEO for North America. He previously managed SEO strategy for iCrossing, which was recently ranked as the number one search marketing agency by revenue by Advertising Age for the sixth year in a row. In this new role, Platts, who also reports to Adams, will lead iCrossing's natural search practice and work to further integrate earned media strategy into the agency's overall media offering.
