LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/13/13 -- Zumbox, the leader in digital enterprise customer communications, today announced the appointment of senior executive Gordon Adams as President and Chief Revenue Officer. Mr. Adams brings 25 years of experience in both startup and fully scaled companies where he has specialized in large, complex engagements in enterprise SaaS, software and outsourcing services.

Mr. Adams previously served as the head of Global Sales & Professional Services for a Tyco Retail Solutions unit focused on RFID technology solutions. Prior to joining Tyco, Mr. Adams was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vue Technology, an Item Level RFID start-up which was acquired by Tyco International in October 2008. Prior to joining Vue, Mr. Adams spent a major portion of his career at global professional services and outsourcing firms including IBM, EDS and Affiliated Computers Systems where he held positions responsible for sales and delivery of very large, complex SaaS and outsourcing transactions.
Mr. Adams received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC) where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also received a Post Graduate Scholarship from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) during his senior year playing quarterback for the USC Football team.
In a related matter, the company announced that Chuck Teller, formerly head of Strategy and Market Development at Zumbox, had been named SVP Product and Technology. A serial software entrepreneur, Chuck was the founder and president of Catalog Choice, the nation's largest consumer choice portal. He led the sale of Catalog Choice to TrustedID in May 2012. Previously, Chuck was the President of Advance Planning Solutions (APS), an early enterprise analytic application company. In early 2000, Chuck led the sale of APS to PeopleSoft. At PeopleSoft, Chuck was the General Manager of Enterprise Performance Management (business analytics and reporting), taking its EPM product line from inception to over $75 million in annual new license sales.
