VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/22/13 -- BC Children's Hospital Foundation has invited Boldijarre Koronczay, President and Founder of Eminence Organic Skin Care (www.eminenceorganics.com) to present the company's recent fundraising efforts during the Miracle Weekend Telethon on June 1, 2013. Eminence has raised a total of $11,073 which was donated to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation earlier this year.
"We are looking forward to celebrating Eminence's generous donation at our annual Miracle Weekend," says Teri Nicholas, President and CEO of BC Children's Hospital Foundation. "Support from local companies like Eminence is invaluable to giving BC's kids a chance for a brighter future."
At the age of five Boldijarre Koronczay was diagnosed with the life-threatening disease Leukemia. After seeing no response to traditional methods of treatment, his family resorted to their own natural remedies. "The key to my recovery was the organic remedies and strict organic diet that my grandmother and mother implemented," Koronczay says. Determined to spread the message of the benefits of organic living and skin care, he moved to Canada with his brother Attila in 1998 to start what has become a global brand, Eminence Organic Skin Care. After beating the odds at a young age, Koronczay has since dedicated his life to creating and delivering healthy options for skin care while giving back to charitable organizations and life-saving programs. "Beating the disease was the first time that I realized my own personal strength and determination to overcome adversity. I want to do everything I can to give others the same chance."
Eminence contributes to many different charitable organizations every year and is a proud supporter of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Helping children in need is an important cause that is near and dear to the hearts of both the staff and owners of Eminence. Join Eminence and support the BC Children's Hospital Foundation at this year's Miracle Weekend Telethon to help save children's lives. The telethon will air on Global BC at 7pm PST on Saturday, June 1, 2013.
