SAN FRANCISCO, CA and NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/14/13 -- Krux (www.krux.com) continues to build out its go-to-market and management teams by adding two senior executives -- Michael Moreau as vice president of business development and David Ron as chief financial officer.
The two hires are part of a continuing business expansion fueled by Krux's strong business growth and the increasing dominance of its solutions in the data management platform (DMP) market. Krux is the global technology leader in cloud-based consumer data management solutions, helping companies improve site performance and user engagement, strengthen web data security, and drive more revenue.
Mr. Moreau is an expert in data-driven media strategies and brings nearly 15 years of experience to his new position at Krux. As vice president of business development, he is responsible for growing Krux's diverse network of partners and driving advanced applications of the Krux platform.
Previously, Mr. Moreau served as vice president of digital at GateHouse Media, which owned some 400 local media properties. He was responsible for digital strategy, operations, product development, programmatic trading, and ad technology. He also managed the company's implementation of the Krux DMP. He was co-founder and chief operating officer of ReviNet (acquired by PubMatic); and held senior revenue and business management positions at Boston.com and the Boston Globe. He started his career as a staff auditor at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Moreau has a B.S. in accounting and information systems from the University of Massachusetts. He is a resident of Boston and will be based in Krux's New York City office.
Mr. Ron is a senior-level financial executive with more than 25 years of experience managing early stage technology companies through their rapid growth, fundraising and driving them to successful and high valuation outcomes. He assumes full responsibility for Krux's financial and administrative management and will be based in the firm's San Francisco headquarters.
Prior to joining Krux, Mr. Ron ran his own consulting firm, providing outsourced CFO and investing services including serving as director, investment banking - digital media for Centaur Partners. Previously, he was CFO and VP Finance for Market6; VP Finance at Rapt -- and later part of the Microsoft finance integration team following its acquisition; CFO at Global Sight Corp.; CFO at TV Interactive Corp.; and treasurer for Metaphor Computer Systems (later acquired by IBM). Mr. Ron holds a Series 79 FINRA certification. He is a graduate of Boston University.
