Congressional members have given the IRS until Wednesday to provide copies of all agency communications that include the words "tea party," "patriot," and "conservative."

At the same time, Fox News reported on Monday that the IRS may have been casting an even wider net, and agents could have unfairly targeted groups that touted better government economic policy and debt pay-down. Also among the targeted: Groups that tried to educate about the Constitution or government policy critics, Fox News said.

The scandal is an outrage, said several congressional members making the talk show circuit on Sunday.

"This is something we cannot let stand," said Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, on Fox News Sunday. "This should send a chill up your spine."

And as Fox News reported on Monday, at least one congressional member has wondered: What about Obamacare? Do critics of Obamacare face extra layers of IRS scrutiny, also?

The House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Oversight set a deadline for the IRS to provide the names and titles of all those involved targeting groups for extra oversight, as well as copies of communications, Newsmax reported.
