DENVER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/13 -- FORTRUST, the Rocky Mountain Region's premier data center and colocation services provider, announced that they have completed the first phase of a modular expansion that will add an additional 11.4MW of critical IT load at 2N to the FORTRUST Denver facility in an incremental modular design methodology. This modular design includes IO.Anywhere® data modules in order to provide "on-demand" delivery of data center space and capacity in a scalable modular platform with a highly energy efficient environment for their customers. FORTRUST's new modular design will allow data modules to be introduced in a just-in-time and agile delivery method through their partnership with IO. Completion of the first phase now allows FORTRUST to expand continuously within 60 days in response to increasing customer demand for data modules.
FORTRUST is the exclusive "Powered by IO" partner in Colorado, and maintains a presence in Phoenix, AZ and Edison, NJ. FORTRUST has customers in both additional locations. With over 1MW of data modules already deployed between the three locations, FORTRUST expects to expand in those markets.
FORTRUST's Vice President Rob McClary states, "With our evolution to Data Center 2.0 and the efficiencies that resulted, we were able to gain approximately 5.2 MW of additional IT load at 2N without expanding the physical facility. We can provide a highly dense, efficient and secure colocation environment for IT end-users including small business, FORTUNE 500 and large capacity customers."
FORTRUST is a high-availability data center services provider, progressively designed and precisely managed to preserve business continuity for its customers. FORTRUST's premier offerings include agile, reliable, sustainable and secure modular data center capacity for any-size enterprise supported by optimal power infrastructure and connectivity to safeguard mission-critical business services.
