The Hot List: Marc Maron at Live Wire, 'Miz Kitty's Parlour,' 'The Ed Forman Show,' more

May 10--1 Comedian/author/podcaster/TV star Marc Maron is among the guests for a new edition of Live Wire. Also on the bill are Ken Davenport and Scott Schwartz, who have created a musical adaptation of the Christopher Reeve movie, "Somewhere in Time"; novelist Monica Drake ("Clown Girl," "The Stud Book"); Annalee Newitz, of the Gawker science fiction blog,; and music by Portland band Genders. 2 Celebrate the dark side of Mother's Day with screenings of two movies depicting difficult relationships between Dear Old Mom and her offspring. Faye Dunaway plays Joan Crawford as a monster mother in "Mommie Dearest," and Nancy Kelly plays the worried mom of deadly daughter Rhoda (Patty McCormack) in "The Bad Seed." 4 "Miz Kitty's Parlour" celebrates the end of its 11th season of old-time inspired, new-style spirited entertainment. Guests include Boy & Bean, with '30s-style jazz; tribal dancer Nagasita; Davy Jay Sparrow & His Western Songbirds; and comedy actresses Ritah Parrish and Wendy Westerwelle.
