Dr. Ron Nusbaum, founder of Toronto back pain clinic Back Clinics of Canada, recently appeared on Rogers daytime television. daytime, York Region's daily live lifestyle program, reaches 230,000 viewers.

Dr. Nusbaum, an Ontario back health expert, has appeared regularly and offers wisdom and practical insight related to back pain, neck pain and spine health.

On April 24, Dr. Nusbaum shared tips for conditioning muscles before gardening, to mitigate back pain. "Springtime is when backyard athletes venture out to work in the garden. Gardeners, actually, are prone to low back pain and neck pain, because of the real work that's involved," says Dr. Nusbaum.

Dr. Nusbaum spoke about proper lifting and turning while carrying heavy loads. He also demonstrated easy and effective targeted stretches. "With just a few minutes of stretching before, during a break, and after gardening, you can reduce the chance of ache or injury," he explains. "We see many patients who have a stiff neck or herniated low back disc from lifting or carrying improperly. There is a lot of pain, and it's avoidable."

Dr. Nusbaum's daytime segment also includes a visit from a Back Clinics of Canada patient. The patient shares a compelling personal story of suffering with debilitating pain due to a disc injury. Treatment by way of the High Performance Healing System™ at Dr. Nusbaum's low back pain clinic healed her injured spinal disc and helped her to reclaim a pain-free life.

The cause is typically an accident or injury, but serious back pain can also be caused by lifestyle, daily activities, poor posture, and even improper footwear. At Back Clinics of Canada we help uncover the root cause of back pain and treat the cause, for lasting healing and pain relief."
