CBS Renews 'Criminal Minds' for Ninth Season

CBS says it has renewed its U.S. investigative drama series "Criminal Minds" for the 2013-14 broadcast season.

Starring Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness and Jeanne Tripplehorn, the show is now in its eighth season.

The series is about an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, the network said.
