
OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/10/13 -- - Preliminary results will be available at www.elections.ca from 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Monday, May 13, 2013, for the federal by-election in Labrador (Newfoundland and Labrador). Unofficial voter turnout results will be displayed in real time throughout the night.
- As soon as polls close, the deputy returning officers count the votes and transmit the results to the returning officer for the electoral district, who immediately relays them electronically to Elections Canada in Ottawa.
