People en Espanol's "50 Most Beautiful"
issue highlights some of today's most popular Hispanic
celebrities. This year's cover features six leading telenovela actors and one
talented actress, all-time soap opera queen Lucero. The magazine gathered all seven
stars under one roof for a shoot at a luxurious mansion in sunny
Miami Beach. The leading men gracing the cover are David Zepeda, Sebastian
Rulli, Eugenio Siller, Rafael Amaya, Erick Elias and Jencarlos Canela.
Representing the ladies on the list, two Latin divas go head to head. Honored for the eighth time this year on the list, both Jennifer Lopez and Sofia Vergara are living proof that 40-somethings are not only beautiful, but also sexy. With a successful clothing line and a movie in the works, the Modern Family (ABC) actress remains humble and hardworking. "I can't believe the luck I've had," says Vergara. Meanwhile, Lopez reveals that her looks come from more than just good genes. "I have never drank [alcohol] or smoked and that has actually worked because my skin only needs moisturizer and good sleep," she shares. Joining them is Latin pop superstar Gloria Estefan, who has redefined what it means to be a grandmother in the 21st Century. With an upcoming album and work on a Broadway show based on her music under way, nothing is slowing her down.
This year's Bellos list features 15 new faces, among them Fox's X Factor judge, Demi Lovato. In a recent interview with the magazine the actress and singer shares her aspirations for the future. "There's so much I have yet to learn and so much I want to do...I want to be a wife and a mother. I want to be someone who help others," she says. Also joining the list for the first time is Mexican-American boxer Victor Ortiz. The boxing champ admits he was surprised to have made the list, and talks about hardships in his life. "Those experiences filled me with a hunger to do big things in this world," he says. Other first time honorees include young Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez, and fashion blogger Michelle Salas.
