NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 04/09/13 -- Marden-Kane, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Bolt Apps, LLC, announced today the launch of Zeus®, an online promotion builder application that allows users to quickly, easily and cost-effectively set up and deploy online promotions while generating the required official rules. Many promotion platforms leave users with the laborious task of retaining experts to draft the official rules, at a high cost; Zeus helps users avoid possible public relations and other challenges when launching online sweepstakes and contests by generating authentic official rules called ReadyRules.
"Online promotions in the form of sweepstakes and contests can be a very effective way for brands to connect with and engage current and potential customers," said Marty Glovin, chief product officer at Bolt Apps. "Zeus was created for users who prefer a complete, intuitive, do-it-yourself application while being confident that they are playing by the rules. Such a tool is a critical component in the deployment of holistically sound online marketing campaigns."
Zeus works by allowing users to input key information, including creative assets and copy, via a user-friendly interactive wizard that produces ready-to-deploy Facebook or microsite promotions. The accompanying ReadyRules enhances Zeus' self-service functionality beyond its peers, eliminating the need to consult with experts to ensure compliance with promotion-related best practices.
The technology for Zeus was developed in-house by a team of promotion, technology and marketing professionals. ReadyRules was also created in-house, in collaboration with legal counsel provided by David Carlin, former managing partner and founder of the advertising practice at the law firm of Loeb & Loeb LLP.
Zeus' primary objective is to help small and medium-sized businesses easily and cost-effectively engage target audiences via the use of online sweepstakes and contests. When used in the manner intended, Zeus simplifies and streamlines the building and subsequent management of online promotions in a way that was not possible before ReadyRules. The cost of deploying each sweepstakes is $995, $1250 for an essay or photo contest and $1500 for a video contest, with the price adjusted upwards depending on customized features.
"We regularly conduct online social promotions, and one of the most popular is our sweepstakes platform," said Erika Williams, associate manager, promotions and merchandising at Destination Rewards. "One of the most challenging aspects of these promotions is the amount of behind-the-scenes process required to launch them effectively. I am so impressed that a tool is now available in Zeus to address these complexities."
