SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/09/13 -- The Aesthetic Meeting for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) will take place in New York City from April 11-16, 2013. Medical marketing agency Rosemont Media will be in attendance and can be found at booth 1019. CEO Keith Humes has been attending the ASAPS event since 1999, and says he is excited about a number of events this year, including the Marketing Day on April 16, and the Silent Auction that will be sponsored by Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF), to which Rosemont Media has donated an iMac Desktop Computer: "Rosemont Media at ASAPS 2013 and ASERF Silent Auction."
The ASERF silent auction will be held from April 13-15, 2013 in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in conjunction with the ASAPS 2013 meeting. The foundation is committed to the advancement of aesthetic surgery to benefit physicians and patients alike, which is why Humes believes the donation of the top-of-the-line computer technology is especially appropriate for the ASERF silent auction: "We firmly believe technology plays an integral role in improving the business side of aesthetic surgery and expanding the aesthetic practice's reach across the ever-expanding and evolving virtual landscape. With this donation, we hope one lucky practice will see the impact the latest technology can have on their patients firsthand."
On the final day of The Aesthetic Meeting 2013, ASAPS will host a Marketing Day to help attendees better understand the business side of the aesthetic plastic surgery practice. Topics scheduled for discussion on Tuesday, April 16, include plastic surgery SEO, patient reviews, online reputation, and secrets to overall practice management. One important element Humes says he hopes is addressed during the meeting is the impact mobile users have on the websites of plastic surgeons and their practices: "Responsive medical website design is no longer a luxury, it is essential for reaching current and potential patients as more and more people use their smartphones and tablets to access aesthetic healthcare site."
