SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE -- (Marketwired) -- 04/25/13 -- Orchard Global Capital Group (S) Pte Ltd (the "Company"), the parent company of Orchard Global Asset Management (S) Pte Ltd and other affiliates (collectively, "OGAM" or the "OGAM Group"), announced today that Bradley D. Belt, Chairman of Palisades Capital Management LLC, former Senior Managing Director of the Milken Institute and former Executive Director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation ("PBGC"), will become Vice Chairman of the Company as of May 1, 2013.
Belt will report to OGAM's Group Chief Executive Officer, Paul Horvath, and will advise OGAM's Group Management Committee on various strategic and operational matters, including product and relationship development, public affairs and regulatory policy issues.

Belt has had a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. In addition to serving as Chairman of Palisades, a boutique restructuring advisory firm, he most recently was Senior Managing Director of the Milken Institute, a nonpartisan public policy organization, where he oversaw the build-out of the Institute's Washington office and capital markets initiatives. Previously, Belt served under President George W. Bush as the Chief Executive Officer of PBGC where he oversaw a US$60 billion investment portfolio and helped shape Administration retirement security policy. He had also been appointed by the President to the Social Security Advisory Board and previously served in senior staff positions in Congress, as counsel to the Senate Banking Committee, and at the Securities and Exchange Commission.
