ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/13 -- Uproar PR, a full service public relations and social media firm, announced today the promotion of Kendall Wayland to Chief of Staff. In her new role, Kendall is directing the internal operations of the office, while also working with the partners to further expand Uproar's reach into markets such as consumer packaged goods, sports and hospitality.
Kendall has been with the agency since its inception in 2011. She previously worked alongside Uproar's partners, Catriona and Michael Harris, for several years at another PR agency. She has been instrumental in implementing new initiatives that have helped strengthen account teams, and boost team morale.
"We could not think of a better person to take a lead role at Uproar. Kendall is deeply rooted in our organization and understands our long-term goals," said Catriona Harris, managing partner of Uproar PR. "Kendall's new role at the agency is allowing us to streamline our operations and allows our senior management to focus even more deeply on working closely with our clients."
The Chief of Staff position is a brand new one for Uproar. Kendall will use her knack for organization to help the agency run more smoothly -- allowing the partners to focus on client retention as well as further expanding the agency in its key markets. With the internal team also continuing to grow, Kendall will ensure new team members are properly trained and setup to thrive at the agency.
"After working with the partners of Uproar for close to seven years now, we have a mutual respect for each other which is crucial in running a successful agency," said Wayland. "The future is bright for Uproar PR and I am excited to be a part of it."
