Bristow comes to Send Word Now with more than a decade of senior leadership experience within critical communications technology companies. Most recently, Bristow served as Managing Partner for a notification technology and governance consulting firm. He co-authored a popular blog on alerts and warnings for Emergency Management magazine, and served as a senior consultant to FEMA's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) program. He is also a notification technology patent-holder, co-author of the book Seven Myths of Selling to Government and a Senior Fellow for the Center for Digital Government.
