DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES -- (Marketwire) -- 03/22/13 -- The spectacular terrace at No.5 Lounge & Bar, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre, is now officially open, and looks set to become one of the leading nightlife destinations in the city. Linked by a direct walkway to the heart of DIFC, famed for playing host to Dubai's leading restaurants and a thriving art scene, the impressive new venue, and largest outdoor terrace in DIFC, is perfectly located to become a key social hotspot within the UAE.
The modern décor of the terrace, with its lounge-style sofas and contemporary black and white tables and chairs, provides the perfect backdrop to an upbeat evening, enjoying the sounds of the Resident DJ, who plays soulful lounge and house music every night until 3am.
3,6,9 Tapas & Ritz-Carlton Cocktails
From 6pm, guests can enjoy an innovative menu concept called '3,6,9 Tapas,' where they select either three, six or nine pieces of tapas to share. The menu offers a range of seafood, meat and vegetable dishes, with highlights including sushi and sashimi, marinated octopus, mini Wagyu beef burgers and eggplant with ricotta rolls. Cocktails include the tangy Lychee Temptation and Raspberry Passion, and the signature No.5 Cocktail, which sees the talented mixologists combining bourbon with cointreau, aperol and a splash of lemon juice.
Diamonds In The Sky
Every Wednesday evening brings a touch of glamor, as the terrace hosts 'Diamonds In The Sky,' where bubbles and sushi provide the perfect match for ladies looking to spend a sparkling evening under the stars. Just a short, high-heel friendly walk from DIFC, No.5 Lounge & Bar is the perfect location for Dubai's most style-savvy ladies.
Art After Dark
On 18 March, No.5 Lounge & Bar will host 'Art After Dark,' the official after-party for DIFC Art Nights. The terrace previously hosted Art After Dark in January, during the soft-opening phase, which saw over 300 of Dubai's most stylish residents enjoying drinks and music from the Resident DJ until the early hours of the morning.
On weekdays a delicious Business Lunch is served on the shaded terrace at the luxury hotel. Priced at AED 120 per person, guests can select two courses, a soft drink and tea or coffee, and the menu will change regularly, providing a range of options for guests to enjoy.
No.5 Lounge & Bar is located on the Podium Level of The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Centre, and can be reached from inside the downtown hotel, or via a convenient walkway from DIFC, located between Precinct Buildings 3 & 4 on the Podium Level (just a 2-3 minute walk from Gate Village and The Gate).
