NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/13 -- Zurich, Switzerland-based SISM Research today announced that senior analyst Ernest Schlotter is undertaking coverage of mineral exploration and development company Great American Energy Inc. (OTCQB: SRBL) (OTCBB: SRBL). Schlotter's initial report, which will include a 12- to 18-month stock target valuation and analyst's rating, is slated for publication within the next two weeks.
According to SISM, Schlotter, rated a four star analyst by StarMine, has begun evaluating mineral resources and production potential of Great American, noting that in June 2012 the company entered into two options agreements to acquire properties in British Columbia, Canada and Nevada. Further, SISM noted that the two agreements are partly fulfilled, as the company made initial payments to the sellers and commenced exploration work in Canada as part of the agreements.
In June 2012, thirty-two surface samples were taken from the Canadian property, which lies within the Rocky Mountain rare metal belt, and those samples did provide indications of rare earth elements (REE'S), according to SISM.
SISM analyst Schlotter commented, "Great American Energy will undertake a substantial exploration program to unlock the resources. The lithium project in Nevada is located 28 miles west of one of the world's leading producers of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide, and is the only active lithium mine in the United States. This mine has been in production for over forty years, pumping brines as deep as 600 meters below the surface."
"Based on a National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report conducted during on the property in 2009," Schlotter continued, "a non-contingent multi-staged program is recommended to test the resource potential of the property, having found similar geology to Silver Peak Mine's Clayton Valley."
During the next two weeks, Schlotter will undertake reviews on the resource potential to determine the company valuation, SISM added.
