OAKVILLE, ON -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/13 -- Vector Marketing Canada, the exclusive Canadian direct seller for Cutco Cutlery Corporation, recently honored its top sales professionals at their annual year end banquets held January 19th, 25th & 26th 2013 in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. This year's banquet drew a gathering of more than 260 sales representatives, managers and parents from throughout Canada to recognize Vector Canada's finest performers. Cutco Cutlery Corporation, the largest kitchen cutlery manufacturer in North America, sells its products primarily through a national network of university students who sell through in-home personal demonstrations. The 64-year-old company manufactures its cutlery products in the western New York State city of Olean.
"The Vector Marketing Canada experience is about much more than selling cutlery. It is about human potential and the spirit that can come alive in people when they are in the right atmosphere. Pursuing goals, overcoming challenges and finding a way to grow is something we are all about," said Joe Cardillo, National Sales Manager for Vector Marketing Canada. "This year, once again, we were treated to astonishing performances by teams and individuals that have challenged what is possible and overcome barriers in their pursuit of the Vector Opportunity. It was a pleasure to recognize these champions at our annual year end banquet."
Six Silver Cups were presented at the banquet. Silver Cups represent Vector Marketing's highest award for sales.
Angie Macdougall, division manager for Vector Marketing Canada's CANROCK Division, received a Silver Cup for creating the number one division in Canada with sales of $3,673,076.
