
CARMEL, IN -- (Marketwire) -- 03/13/13 -- KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR) (the "Company") announced that it has entered into an amendment to its Credit Agreement dated as of May 19, 2011 (the "Credit Agreement"). The amendment, among other things, provides for the repricing of the term loans under the Credit Agreement through the incurrence of $1,674.5 million of new term loans (the "New Term Loans"). The interest rate of the New Term Loans was reduced to LIBOR plus 2.75% with a LIBOR floor of 1.00%.
Additionally, the Company has entered into an Incremental Term Loan Agreement No. 1 to the Credit Agreement, pursuant to which it has incurred $150.0 million of additional term loans, the proceeds of which the Company will use to redeem its Floating Rate Senior Notes due 2014 on April 3, 2013.
