MINOT, ND -- (Marketwire) -- 02/07/13 -- Integrity Viking Funds, a mutual fund and financial services company announced today that its Williston Basin/Mid-North America Stock Fund (ICPAX) has earned an Overall 5-star rating by Morningstar as of January 31, 2013. The Morningstar Rating for a fund is derived from a weighted average of the fund's three-, five- and ten-year risk adjusted return measure (if applicable). The ratings range from one to five stars, with the best performers (top 10%) receiving five stars.

For each fund with at least a three-year history, Morningstar calculates a Morningstar Rating based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a fund's monthly performance (including the effects of sales charges, loads, and redemption fees), placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of funds in each category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a fund is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five- and ten-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. The Williston Basin/Mid-North America Stock Fund was rated 5-stars Overall, and for the 3-year and 5-year periods; it was rated 4-stars for the 10-year period.
