LINCOLNSHIRE, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/06/13 -- Camping World, the nation's largest RV and outdoor retailer, today announced that it has acquired an additional amount of significant acreage on the heels of opening its new SuperCenter in Tampa. The new location officially named Camping World of Tampa, opened in July 2012 and will expand on an additional 24 acres.
Plans are underway to expand the new I-4 Tampa SuperCenter to be the largest retail facility in the company's 100 location network. Currently the location is undergoing expansion to expand and renovate into an 80,000 square foot facility including 40 additional service bays and a new 17,000 square foot Camping World retail store and a state of the art collision center. The new facility will be completed within seven months with the process starting in mid-February.
