To mark the first year as Official Watch and Timing partner of British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), 88 RUE DU RHONE have produced 50 limited edition watches that will be gifted to all citation readers over the duration of the BAFTA weekend.
The 88 RUE DU RHONE Limited Edition BAFTA timepiece features a unique engraving of the EE British Academy of Film and Television Arts logo on the back of the watchcase. Along with the gifted presenters 88 RUE DU RHONE will be giving away a number of these limited edition watches through social media competitions to lucky members of the public.
The gent's timepiece features a sleek, stylish 42mm rose gold case, with black dial, date display and chronograph functions. This piece is based upon a classic style of watch, it comes with a soft brown leather strap and is 50m water resistant.
The ladies execution has been designed using a 29mm stainless steel case that features 11 Diamond index, with 8-filigree motif and silver Arabic numeral 8 detail. The strap is made from shiny black calf leather with alligator padding and ardillion buckle.
88 RUE DU RHONE'S identity is routed firmly in Switzerland. Created by one of the country's most famous watchmaking families, the brand is named after Geneva's most prestigious street, Rue Du Rhone, and the river Rhone that flows through the heart of the city. The number 88 is the only number missing on the street. Just where number 88 should be, there is something precious: the view of the Rhone leaving Lake Geneva. It is precisely here on these banks that Swiss watchmaking was born five centuries ago. This 88 RUE DU RHONE has become a signature logo engraved in the design of each of the timepieces.
88 RUE DU RHONE Swiss made timepieces perfectly blend traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques with stylish, contemporary design and pride themselves on being an accessible luxury product. The collection comprises of more than fifty timepieces for men and women with designs ranging in size from 29mm to 42mm consisting of both quartz and automatic movements.
