VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/18/13 -- Selwyn Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SWN) ("Selwyn") announces the departure of Mr. Jason Dunning who has resigned as Vice President of Exploration, effective February 15, 2013. Harlan Meade, President and CEO of Selwyn, thanks Mr. Dunning for his many years of valuable service and contribution to Selwyn and the Selwyn Project, and wishes him all the best in his future exploration endeavours. Mr. Wolfgang Schleiss has accepted the appointment of Vice President of Exploration.

Mr. Wolfgang Schleiss, P. Geo., has over 25 years experience in both exploration and mining with a M.Sc. degree from Michigan Technological University in 1986, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1981. Mr. Schleiss has previously managed precious and base metal exploration programs throughout North America, Europe and Russia for companies such as Tamerlane Ventures, Phelps Dodge, Unimin Corporation, and Battle Mountain Gold.
