1. New Open Basket
If you've got a number of parcels to send, you'll find ipostparcel's new "Open Basket" functionality really useful. You can now add any number of parcels to your basket and they will hold them securely until you're ready to complete your payment and ship them. You can log off and be confident your parcels will still be in the basket whenever you return to the site, whether that's days, week or even months later. You can also edit the details of any parcel in your basket, including changing the collection date or deleting a shipment if your requirements change.
2. New X-Small Parcel Service
Following customer feedback ipostparcels have changed the way they manage X-Small parcels (previously called packets). To save you money, you will now pay just a single driver parcel collection charge for all X-Small parcels collected on a given day. So whether you are sending 1 or 100 X-Small parcels the driver collection charge is fixed or you can still choose the option to drop at one of the 55 depots and no collection fees will be added. You can select a 2/3 day service or a next day service which includes a signature at the point of delivery. The collection charge will only show against the first order you add to your basket if you add additional larger parcels to your order you will still receive the multi-parcel discounts.
3. New Address Book (for quote and book page)
If you have regular addresses that you ship to, then you can save time with ipostparcel's new "Address Book" function. Register to create an account or log in to ipostparcels.com, go to the "My Account" tab and follow the simple instructions to create or import your address book. Once your addresses are loaded you can quickly populate the "Parcel Delivery Details" section of the booking form, just start typing and the fields will automatically complete with the matching address. If you have a new address to add then simply tick the "Save to my Address Book" check box at the end of the Parcel Delivery Details section.
4. ipostparcels's Pricing
ipostparcels aim to keep their pricing simple to ensure the cheapest parcel delivery possible and will always guarantee that whatever your combination of parcel sizes and quantities your discounts will be calculated to give you the best saving possible. If you are sending X-Small parcels then ipostparcels will add a single collection charge for all X-Small parcels sent on a single day - so where possible it makes sense to save up your orders and ship them all together so our driver only has to collect once.
5. New Address Book (for address book page)
If you have regular addresses that you ship to, then you can save time with ipostparcels' new "Address Book" function. Simply organise an existing address list into the required fields and save as a CSV file or create a new address book from scratch using the template provided. Then click the "Import CSV" button and once your addresses are loaded you can quickly populate the "Parcel Delivery Details" section of the booking form, just start typing and the fields will automatically complete with the matching address. If you have a new address to add then simply tick the "Save to my Address Book" check box at the end of the Parcel Delivery Details section.
