MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/11/13 -- Latino and multicultural bloggers are getting an early Valentine's Day present today courtesy of Hispanicize 2013 sponsors and the Latina Mom Bloggers network.
Thanks to strong corporate support from some of the nation's largest Hispanic brands, media companies and marketing agencies, organizers of Hispanicize 2013 announced that for the second consecutive year its "Brands Love Bloggers" program has been renewed to provide more than 125 Latino and multicultural bloggers with free passes to attend the annual Latino trends event. Hispanicize 2013 (http://www.HispanicizeEvent.com) will take place April 9-13 in Miami Beach's Eden Roc Hotel. (See the special 1-min. "This program is larger than last year's, a testimony to the fact that Hispanic brands and agencies are clamoring to engage our thriving Latino blogger communities," said Manny Ruiz, founder and creative director of Hispanicize 2013.
Added Piera Jolly, president of Latina Mom Bloggers: "We're excited to once again facilitate this program for bloggers. This year's event will provide bloggers with unprecedented, direct access to brands and their agencies as well as to top quality blog opportunities, professional development sessions, networking and entertainment."
Among the Hispanicize 2013 sponsors specifically contributing to this initiative are: Coca-Cola, MundoFox, Sherwin-Williams, Ford, The Clorox Company, Maseca, ViSalus, Transitions, NBC Latino, The Axis Agency, JeffreyGroup, Lanugo, Business Wire, PR Newswire and several more brands. The event's top sponsors -- leading Fortune 500 companies with wide-ranging plans for blogger engagement -- will soon be unveiled.
WHO QUALIFIES
The 125 full access event passes are available to Latino and multicultural bloggers who have been blogging consistently for at least one year and fill out a short online form http://bit.ly/VPOEu9. A wide range of bloggers from entertainment to parenting and fashion to tech are eligible. Qualifying bloggers who have already paid to attend Hispanicize 2013 and meet the criteria will be refunded.
Bloggers do not have to be part of the Latina Mom Bloggers network to qualify and both male and female bloggers qualify. A national committee led by advisory board members of Hispanicize 2013 and the Latina Mom Bloggers network will sort through the blogger applications and promptly notify bloggers who qualify. Priority preference will be given to bloggers who did not attend last year's Hispanicize event. The full selection criteria are on the registration page.
