VIVA Bahrain has signed an agreement with King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) by which VIVA will offer secure and high-quality network services to the University Hospital. VIVA will provide 50 MB dedicated high speed internet access as part of the ICT agreement. VIVA CEO Ulaiyan Al Wetaid said, "We are very excited that KHUH has agreed to bring into play VIVA services as a telecom provider, which strengthens our relationship with the medical institution. We have been working with KHUH and the ministry of mealth closely to help unify their communications network on a number of projects and will continue with our efforts to meet the distinctive requirements of the health sector, where reliable communications is vital to keep up with uninterrupted medical assistance and strict compliance. The use of advanced ICT technologies will help drive faster outcomes within health ecosystems, from the initial patient administration process, capturing patient medical history and providing access to authorised medical staff to ensure the best possible treatment is provided."
