Tutera Senior Living & Health Care, part of the Tutera Group, has
expanded its use of workforce management solutions from Kronos
Incorporated by adding applications deployed in the Kronos
Cloud to achieve higher levels of efficiency. To fulfill key
business objectives of reducing turnover and attracting top talent, the
long-term care organization chose to add more innovation in the way it
schedules employees and manages its workforce with the newly added
Offering affordable independent and assisted living options in skilled
nursing, home health, and rehabilitation services, Tutera Senior
Living & Health Care, a long-standing user of the Kronos time and
attendance solution, recently selected employee scheduling, HR,
payroll, and absence management applications from Kronos for use by
nearly 3,000 employees across all 40 locations. Prior to this, the
organization used a mix of homegrown, semi-manual, and manual systems
for these functions, which did not support standardization across

in the Kronos Cloud, allowing Kronos to manage all configuration,
maintenance, upgrades, and support of the solutions, freeing up IT

processes, Kronos will help the long-term care organization access

retention and attracting top talent to best serve its residents.
Consistency and accuracy in schedule generation will also further
improve employee satisfaction.
Absenteeism is an issue that Tutera will now address with Kronos
solutions. Standardizing the way absences – whether planned,
incidental, or extended -- are managed across the organization will
help ensure that quality care delivery is not adversely impacted.
Additionally, Kronos will help Tutera prepare for Affordable Care Act
(ACA) compliance, as Kronos will help it meet its ACA goals through
accuracy and efficiency in employee timekeeping and payroll processes.
