The Band Perry will make a stop in Dubuque as part of its "We Are Pioneers" 2014 World Tour, on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Five Flags Arena.
The tour marks the first headlining arena tour for the award- winning country music family trio known for its album, "Pioneer."
The world tour will kick off in Gothenburg, Sweden, Friday, Nov. 8, and perform throughout Europe for five weeks before the band jumps back across the Atlantic.
"We live to play," said band member Kimberly Perry in a press release. "In our minds, everything we do - writing, recording, interviews, appearances - is the means to the live end. To fully and totally understand our band, you have to see us live. It's the three of us in our element, our living room, our therapy session, our recess. We can't wait to bring 'We Are Pioneers' to the world."
Since releasing its self-titled debut album in 2010, The Band Perry - including siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry - has notched a string of hit singles including "If I Die Young," "You Lie," "All Your Life," "Better Dig Two" and "DONE."
The band's sophomore release, "Pioneer," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. It sold more than 130,000 copies its first week and has received acclaim from the top critics across the country.
The band also has enjoyed sold-out headlining dates and a showering of honors, including multiple ACM, CMA and CMT awards, as well as Teen Choice, AMA, ACA and Billboard Music Award and Grammy Award nominations.
