HAVE you seen @GaryBarlow in Coronation Street? Or rather the sponsored ad for Compare The Market. The multi-millionaire, who'll be playing the Capital FM Arena on April 17, tweeted: "Seen some weird things before, but bumping into 2 meerkats on segways in the middle of Manchester is up there!" BEFORE playing to thousands at the Capital FM Arena on Monday night, @Stereophonics tweeted this photo of frontman Kelly Jones at the soundcheck.

NOTTINGHAM beatboxer @THePETEBOX is big news in Lithuania. He tweeted this photo of his own billboard advertising his gigs there.

JAKE Bugg will find out if his second album, Shangri La, has beaten Robbie Williams' latest to No. 1 tomorrow. Latest figures suggest that the former Take That star, whose music career started around the time Jake was born, is winning the race. Bugg's album comes just 13 months after his debut topped the UK chart. On Monday he tweeted: "2nd album out today! Didn't think I would have it out so soon, thank you everyone!" Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith (@RHCPchad, pictured left), who played drums on the album, said: "I'm gonna go buy your CD tomorrow, I hear it's pretty good," to which Jake quipped: "Cheers man. It's all right. There's a couple of tracks with some pretty sloppy drums on it though."

Ben Miller (@ActualBen Miller) was sad to leave Nottingham when his starring role in political comedy The Duck House ended at the Theatre Royal, saying: "A resounding thank you to all who came to see @the_duck_house this week! So sorry to leave your beautiful @RoyalNottingham."

But he was cheered up when he spotted this bonkers advert in a shop window. He quipped: "Turns out I'm sitting on a gold mine."

BAFTA winner @Vicky_McClure was at Broadway last weekend for The Television Workshop's 30th anniversary celebrations where she and co- star Andrew Shim did a live commentary during the screening of A Room for Romeo Brass.

She tweeted: "Incredible memories. And can't believe how high my voice was!" Before that, she joined the film's director Shane Meadows to surprise members of a film club based at a veggie restaurant in Beeston. @Beestonia tweeted this photo of the pair saying: "Wow. Our tiny @CafeRoya film club was immensely honoured to have @ShadyMeadows @Vicky_McClure come along last night."
