HONG KONG, CHINA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/20/13 -- Seaspan Corporation ("Seaspan") (NYSE: SSW) announced today that it has priced its previously announced public offering of 3,500,000 Class A common shares (the "Common Shares") at $22.00 per share. Seaspan has granted the underwriters of the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 525,000 Common Shares. The offering is expected to close on November 25, 2013.
Seaspan intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include funding vessel acquisitions.
