Bulgarian telecommunications operator Max Telecom launched Max Spot, a new mobile internet service with high-speed mobile internet for home and office. Customers who choose Max Spot get wireless internet access with 40 GB mobile data per month included at a high speed of up to 10 Mbps and up to 512 Kbps for over-the-limit traffic. All new clients are offered a two-day free trial. Users can either choose a one or two-year contract duration. The monthly price for a one-year contract is BGN 29.90 per month, while the fee for a two-year contract is BGN 24.90. There are no connection charges and the device for accessing the service can be taken to different home or office locations and installed within minutes. It allows up to 10 end-user devices to be connected to the wireless network it creates at the same time.
Max Telecom also announced another interesting proposal for new customers, namely a promotional campaign for online sales of products with subscriptions. All customers who buy Max Mobile HotSpot, Max On the Go or Max Spot service at www.maxtelecom.bg or by calling 0999 111 until 28 November will get the first month for free.
Max Telecom changed ownership and under the leadership of CEO Peter Covell, the company is executing a new strategy, namely to roll out Bulgaria's first nationwide 4G LTE network in the 1800 MHz spectrum. In June, Nokia was awarded the contract after a fiercely competitive bidding process. In the very beginning, the new 4G LTE network will cover 6 key cities in Bulgaria, including Sofia, Ruse, Pleven, Sliven, Stara Zagora, and Bansko.
