Huawei said it has moved to third place on the Dutch smartphone market, after Samsung and Apple. Robbert de Graaf, Director Consumer Business Group at Huawei Technologies Benelux, said this is the Chinese company's goal in the Netherlands. While the current market share may be only a temporary phenomenon, he expects that Huawei can continue to compete with low prices and good quality. Part of the strategy is introducing new high-end models, such as the Ascend P6 launched in June. Huawei is also launching the Ascend P2, Ascend G510, Ascend W1 and Ascend Mate phablet on the local market.
